Keeping a well stocked kitchen helps more than you can imagine!

Don’t feel pressured to buy everything today. Build your pantry a little bit at a time. Look for sales in flyers and use the grocery store apps and load their digital coupons. Compare prices of store brand and name brand items. Remember – a lot of the difference in price is marketing costs!

I have these pages in the book but here is a great file to print out and bring with you to the store. AND buying in bulk is a great idea whenever possible BUT you don’t need to try to put everything in canisters with pretty labels on the first day like you see on Tik Tok. Canisters can be very expensive. I have purchased many of ours on clearance. Also, for big bulk items like flour, cereal, etc. I have used these small dog food canisters. They close securely, have strong handles, and have a pouring spout.

The flour and cereal canisters are actually dog food containers. They hold a lot and close securely plus have a pouring spout.

I also use chalkboard type labels and a chalk marker for our canisters and containers in a pantry but there are 1000s of different ones to use online. I like the chalk marker ones because they wipe off with water HOWEVER I also don’t like them because they wipe off with water. For now they work. Check out this link to see if there are any that work for you!

This is one of 3 glass canisters I purchased on clearance at Target.

Hi – I am Holli. I am married to Drew and we have 5 kids and a large extended family. The majority of the kids are out of the house – only the 14 year old is left at home. My mom (who is 80 and has Alzheimer’s) also lives with us. I have been cooking for as long as I can remember. I love cooking. It is my love language. I have tried to pass that on to my kids. Lord knows they saw me cooking a lot of meals in a lot of ways and with a lot of mistakes made along the way.
